Lambeth’s Violence Against Women and Girls* (VAWG) Strategy 2021-27 sets out our plans to make the borough safer for everyone. To support this, we are setting up a panel of ‘experts by experience’ - local people who have experienced violence and abuse.
We are holding focus groups for victims and survivors in Lambeth to help us to plan how the panel should look, feel, and operate.
This focus group session is open to women who:
• Have experienced violence and abuse
• Are aged 16 or over
• Live, work or study in Lambeth
• Are willing to share their views with the council about how our Expert by Experience Panel should look
Focus group participants will each receive a £25 Love2Shop voucher and their travel costs will be covered (receipts required). Soft drinks and light refreshments will be provided. A creche will be available.
There are 10 spaces per session.

* Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) describes forms of violence and abuse that disproportionately affect women and girls, including domestic abuse and sexual violence. However, people of any gender can experience abuse of this nature and the consequences effect everyone.
